Aurel: Possibilities of increasing impact
toughness in heat affected zone of welded joints Metalurgia (57) 2005, nr. 10, p. 5 Experimental researches were undertaken in order to establish the
posibilities of increasing the impact toughness test results in the heat
affected zone (HAZ) of welded joints. Sheet welded joints of 19Mn5 and 15NiCuMoNb5 steel grades were subject of

MATEI, NICOLAE Avram: The substantiation of the programmes and the instruments from the
industrial waters management based on BAT concept Metalurgia (57) 2005, nr. 10, p. 11 In European Union there are a great number of methods regarding wastewaters treatments for
iron and steel sector, these being evaluated as BATs. Some of these
techniques are implemented also in our country with high success. The
applying of these techniques, because of the national regulations harmonized
with European legislation, is compulsory. In this paper, the main characteristics of these
techniques are presented, with an example for wastewaters from wet scrubbing
of blast furnace gas, emphasizing the most important aspects regarding

paper present an analysis about the truthfulness of the results in the
case of applying the classic simplified methods for study the solidification
of castings, as the method of inscribed circles and the method of the solidification |
modulus. The exemplification was realized for the case of some castings in the
shape of bars with U section. The solidification modulus method was applied
in several variants (calculating the full modulus or partial modulus). It is
shown that these methods, in the manner they are applied now, lead to wrong
conclusions. It is presented an equation
to calculate the
real solidification modulus proposed by authors, that considers the
real solidification conditions of the castings inside the mould and so assure
the get more precisely information
concerning the solidification of castings. D.C.: 669.041.222 BORDEA Marius: Energetical consumption at EAF analyzed
in the context of Metalurgia (57) 2005, nr. 10, p. 33 The problem of indirect
polution at EAF is aborded that use electrical power supplied by power plant
that is CO2 producer. The metalurgical processes from EAF that
produces CO2 are analized: carbon oxidation from melt, lime
decompozition and other. Informations refering to evaluation posibilities to
evaluate global emisions of carbon dioxide [kgCO2/kg steel] are
